12" Silent Runner Wheel

The Silent Runner wheel has an axle-free construction which eliminates the possibility of tail or body entanglement during use. The natural 'bean-shaped' openings allow for an easy entrance and exit and entice pets to enter and run against a preferred solid wall back. Duel encased ball bearings allow for a smooth, low friction, quiet, easy glide during use. 12 inch across x 3.5 inch wide track. Every wheel comes with a heavy duty (safe powder coated) metal stand that allows for a slight give when in use, protecting your pet from joint damage caused by running on a fixed surface.

Trim Track Available: Yes Simply disassemble your Silent Runner, replace the regular track with the Sandy Trimmer Insert and place the wheel in your pets cage for 24-36 hours to trim their nails during use.

12" Wide Silent Runner Wheel

The 12 inch (WIDE) Silent Runner is the size recommended for multiple Sugar gliders (3 or more). This model Sillent Runner has a wider track (4 inch) and the wheel diameter is 12 inches. This innovative wheel features a safe, solid running surface, quiet roller-bearing operation and completely tail-safe design. Silent runners can be used either free-standing or will attach directly to a wire cage with the optional hardware package.

Trim Track Available: Yes Simply disassemble your Silent Runner, replace the regular track with the Sandy Trimmer Insert and place the wheel in your pets cage for 24-36 hours to trim their nails during use.

Raptor Mod Wheel with Stand or Cage Mount

Price: £55 - Sugar Glider Shop

The Raptor Wheel is the first modular wheel made for sugar gliders and is very popular in the US. They are 12″ in diameter and 6 and 1/4″ wide. With the cage mount, it is 9 and 1/2″ wide.

The Raptor Wheel resembles the Stealth Wheel in appearance but the bearing is on the back, there is no moving part or bolt within the barrel of the wheel.

The Custom Cruiser are designed to have a bounce on them meaning they don’t just swing, The gliders have to actually pull down on them meaning they have to work even harder to move it round.

They can also be ordered in three width sizes. 4.5’’ (usual) 5’’ or 5.5’’
